In order to narrow down on a topic, I would want to look over all of the possibilities and
select a few that I think would be interesting to debate. After that, I would pick the one that stood
out most. After that, I decided to select a topic that I had some knowledge about and could
maybe relate to, which would offer me a better perspective on the subject.
So, to begin, the CRAAP test can be used to determine the accuracy and relevance of the
material in your sources, which can help you sort them out if they are scholarly. If the article has
enough reliable information, you can check up with the author and see if the information is
published and if the material is biased or unbiased, depending on whether or not the piece has
enough trustworthy information. It is also possible to search through articles online by glancing
at the URL, which indicates the source of the information you are reading. The information
should also be cited correctly.
To summarize, the article I chose shows how income disparity has worsened poverty's
impact. It demonstrates how growing poverty levels are linked to growing levels of inequality.
Income disparity in wealthy countries is also examined in this report (Nolan et al., 2019).
Second, I chose an article that discusses the financial growth of income equality and how it
might lessen poverty (Chakroun, 2020). Reading these two articles would significantly enhance a
worldwide perspective on poverty and economic disparity.
Scholarly sources should always be used when researching an essay or paper. After all,
they are the most reliable because the peer-review process has thoroughly vetted them, and one
can mine the article bibliography for their paper.
