minimum of 175 words: Imagine that someone places their hand on a hot stove. Immediately, and without realizing it, the person moves their hand away quickly. Using the concepts presented in this week’s materials, what do you think causes this response? How do you think the body gathers information about the hot stove and translates that into a large muscle movement so quickly?
